The team has been in existence under various sponsors since the early 90's, with many sponsors returning multiple years, most notably Lombardi Sports who has been a sponsor since the team's inception. The team is mostly comprised of Category 1 & 2 riders, and has had great success over the years at the Elite level. Notable results include William Innes Silver medal at the Elite National Road Championships in 2004. The team has also been known as an incubator for younger riders, in fact, the junior/U23 program is a cornerstone of the team. In recent years, 3 of our riders (Eric Riggs, Daniel Holloway and Adam Switters) have split time between the US National Team and our Elite squad. Holloway and Switters went on to US professional teams last year, they are now riding for Slipstream and Rock Racing respectively. Riggs has come back to our team this year with the caveat that he is splitting his time between our trade team and the US national team yet again! By the way Holloway WON the US Nation Criterium Championships last year! You can safely say that our U23/Junior program has been met with success. We also have a strong masters team, that not only wins races, but helps to mentor our younger riders.
